Tate (6′3″ 200 lbs. Cartersville High School, Cartersville, GA) bats during the 2008 AFLAC All-American game at Dodger Stadium, August 9, 2008. Tate would go on to sign with the San Diego Padres as their first round (third overall) pick in the 2009 MLB first year player draft.
