people, more than half of this leafs team are guys that burke didn’t sign so you cant really blame him for the teams downfall like really who wants stajan or poni other than toronto? We will be lucky to get any more picks and all of the ufas except maybe stempniak will be gone. there is no gurantee that we will get to hall or seguin and even if we do there is no gurantee they will be any good in the nhl.

Majority of players don’t do so great in their first or second.Look at guys like Thornton or Kessel.how often do we hear about how good Luke Schenn is at getting back to defend because of his speed?hes not that slow.I don’t think you even watch leaf games or just only saw the first 15 games this season when everone was doing mediocre. What do rules changes have to do with luke Schenn? He isn’t 30 like a McCabe and had to change his game.Btw hooking penalties weren’t invented in 06 like you claim

No his rookie season was good BUT the NHL is a league of adjustments the league has had a season of tapes they have gone over and found so many weaknesses in Schenns game and are now taking advantage of all his weaknesses and there are MANY, now before the new rules players like Schenn could hook and hold to slow people down, those days are over and his speed is a major factor in his downfall. Oh and I’ve seen about 50 years of Leaf games and I’m a huge Leaf fan, But Luke Schenn wasa poor pick

That’s fucked up! I would have wanted Schenn too ya no two brothers on the same team. I was hoping and prying the Leafs would get him. But that’s all the sympathy your gonna get from a Blue & Gold standpoint!

Though we do love when ya have the courage to come to Buffalo for an ass whippin here or there, we as the fans enjoy it thoughly aw good fun hockey!
