The New York Islanders Select John Tavares With No. 1 Pick @ 2009 NHL Entry Draft

I went to the Coliseum to celebrate with my fellow Islanders fans the team’s selection of John Tavares with their first overall pick of the NHL Draft. I was also ready to burn the place down if they did not select Tavares. Sorry for the yelling, but this was (clearly) one of the (if not THE) happiest moment(s) in the last decade of the Islanders.
