crabtree is a game changer no doubt.. but maclin is no joke either..maclin possesses a quicker burst and top speed than crabtree does… but crabtree catches everything that comes his way… so it really is hard to say whose better than the other… it just depends on what kind of player you are looking for, and what kind of system you are running…
but as it stands now, maclin will prolly go to the raiders.. and crabtree’s stock is falling, and will end up at 49ers around 10.. maybe, lol..
Whys everyone freaking out that he has Maclin over Crabtree. Im sure there alot of times the second WR taken turned out better than the first one. Its called an opinion.
Crabtree is better at short to mid yardage and MAclin is better at stretching the field. they’re totally different receivers and they’re both great. it just depends on wht kind of receiver you want/need.

Hakeem nicks is as good as either of them. 50/50 pass system. Back up QB. No spread offense like macklin,crabtree, or harvin. Killed doubleteams all year and was as clutch as it gets in crunchtime. Straight physical animal before and after the catch. If Macklin=santonio homes and Crabtree=Fitzgerald Then Hakeem Nicks is Anquan Boldin.

He didnt play WR in highschool and he was the best player in the country 2yrs in a row. Pretty good for a guy learning to play the WR position. I love Maclin, but Crabtree is a completely different animal.
troy williamson was blazing fast to…its not all about speed, id rather take a 4.4 solid all around reciver, then a 4.2 speed reciver that isnt quite developed yet, none of the pro bowl recivers recently have just been fast, except for randy moss, but even has great hands, while heyward bey does not, and heyward is not a good route runner, im hopein he has a great career but histroy shows he may not.

harvin is an awesome player but he doesn’t run good routes so he will be limited at wr but will be awesome at a wildcat, punt/kick return.
maclin will be awesome but not better than crabtree. crabtree is number 1 all the way.

dude michael crabtree should be #1. he plays exactly like andre johnson one of the best receivers in the league.
I will be extremely dissappointed if crabtree goes ahead of maclin. I’ve seen him drop as many easy catches as he made big time grabs.
